Question ONE: What if what you do during this next year would determine the rest of your life?

What you do in the next year can determine how you live the rest of your life. Sadly, if you’re a procrastinator like 20% of the population, you will put off any significant change and you will be the same next year as you are this year.

If you are like most procrastinators, you avoid difficult tasks or decisions. When you put things off until later, you are escaping from living fully in the present moment. You are putting things off hoping or wishing things will be better. You may even rationalize that you can start tomorrow or next week, but tomorrow or next week never comes.

You are using up your current moment  wishing, hoping, and rationalizing rather than using the present moment doing the work of making your life better.

Being a procrastinator is not as easy as it seems. Your life as a procrastination has both easy and hard aspects. Easy because by doing nothing you avoid the hard work and risks associated with real change. And it’s difficult because you have to deal with the feelings of guilt, frustration, and anxiety associated with not becoming who you want to be.

Question TWO:  What do you want to do this year to make the rest of your life better?

Lose weight, stop smoking, exercise regularly, reduce your stress, or stop procrastinating.

You only have one life…. there is no pre-game practice. Only one chance to live it the way you want. You are too important to put off today what you can do now to make your life better tomorrow and forever!
